We do not collect sensitive personal information such as Social Security numbers, financial account details (beyond payment processor tokens), or health data.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the data we collect to:
- Process and distribute your service requests (leads) to eligible Providers
- Operate our exclusive buyout and auction marketplace
- Authenticate accounts and maintain secure sessions
- Provide customer support and respond to inquiries
- Improve the Platform through analytics and error tracking
- Prevent fraud, abuse, and manipulation of the auction or referral systems
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service
3. How We Share Your Data – Exclusive Lead Model
Your privacy is protected by design.
CalendarLead operates a strict Exclusive Lead Model:
- Your full service request and contact details are sold to only one Provider at a time.
- That Provider receives exclusive access after purchasing the lead via buyout or winning an auction.
- We never simultaneously blast your information to multiple contractors.
Your contact details remain locked and anonymized for all other Providers until a purchase occurs.
Limited Re-Sharing
Your data will only be made available to a second Provider if the original Provider explicitly cancels the lead and marks it as “nobody replied” (unresponsive). In that case, the lead is placed back into the secure marketplace.
We may also share data with:
- Service providers who help us operate the Platform (Privy for authentication, Google Analytics, Meta, PostHog, Sentry, payment processors) — all under strict data-processing agreements.
- Law enforcement or regulators when required by law.
We do not sell your personal information in the traditional sense. However, under California law (CPRA), the sharing of certain data for advertising or analytics purposes may be considered “sharing.” You can opt out of this at any time via our cookie consent banner or by using a Global Privacy Control signal.
4. Data Retention
We keep your data only as long as necessary:
- Active leads and contact details: 90 days after fulfillment or cancellation
- Account information: for the duration of your account + 2 years after deletion (for legal and fraud prevention)
- Anonymized analytics data: up to 3 years
- Loyalty/referral points: for the duration of your account
You may request deletion of your data at any time (subject to legal retention requirements).

- Access, correct, or delete your personal information
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Withdraw consent where we rely on consent

You have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect and share
- Request deletion of your data
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information
- Non-discrimination for exercising your rights
European Union / GDPR Users
You have additional rights including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

6. Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encryption, access controls, and regular audits to protect your information. However, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Our servers are located in the United States. When we transfer data outside your country, we use appropriate safeguards (standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms) to protect your information.
8. Children’s Privacy
The Platform is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
9. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. The “Effective Date” at the top will be changed accordingly. Material changes will be notified via the Platform or email.
